Gorillaz

Gorillaz is a virtual band created in 1998. They currently have only two album's one named Gorillaz that was released in 2001 and the other one in 2005 name Demon Days. They have sold over 15 millions of copies of the albums. The band members vary, but Albarn is the only permanent member of the band. Gorillaz is composed of four animated characters named 2D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel. The reason for them to be mention in this blog is that as you can see they have a great Japanese anime influence in the design of the virtual band members.
